On Air traffic control modernization program takes step forward

What a waste of billions of dollars. Why not take that money, hire some radar technicians and spend the substantial remaining funds to provide jobs in America, extend unemployment as necessary, and properly outfit our troops. I'm happy with the traditional, decades-old radar system. It seems to be providing us with SAFE and economical transportation. Give it up! Read more from the old r-man

Oh where do I start. I wish journalists who clearly have no understanding of the subject matter woudl refrain from writing on these issues. RNP is based on satellites, true. Read more from Macro

On Wikileaks case could be the push to update espionage laws

If anything, Wikileaks, might be responsible for ending the Iraq/Afganistan commitments a lot sooner. It's not only that spy laws might change, but new laws for accountability of tangible and intangible assets used to fight a war might be put into place. We have lost billions to corruption and have placed too many citizens, allied forces, contract forces and our own armed forces at risk. From PhilipJamesJarosz

The contractors are accountable to the feds that set the scope of and exert oversight on their projects. They may not like it, but no one wants to hear it. From Daniel Scott Morgan

On DISA says more employees willing to make move to new HQ

Mr. Bullock should try driving from Centreville, Woodbridge and Waldorf to test and view the true transportation infrastructure capabilities and challenges the DISA workforce must face, and report on that finding. From Betty Linney

This is amazing to me - that employees would refuse to drive or have a say in a 'company' relocating. I line in LA county and when I worked downtown it took me 2 to 4 hours to commute each way, every day. Now I live 10 miles from the office and on average it takes me 40 minutes. Are employees a bit pampered there or what? From sc

On Researchers slam lawmakers' websites as failing constituents

This is interesting but its hard to just ignore that its 4 year old information. The comment about not using blogs shows how dated this is. We know that a slew of Congressman have taken to Twitter alone in the last year and Facebook as well. That has changed the dynamic. This seems a bit dated to me. From Frederick Wellman
