Aging California computer system holds up unemployment checks

Some California residents haven't received unemployment checks for more than a month because the state Employment Development Department's computers aren't programmed to recognize extensions approved by President Obama. An estimated 117,000 Californians haven't received their unemployment checks, and officials blame the archaic computer system.
