Google's top policy executive to join Obama administration

Andrew McLaughlin, Google's head of global public policy, is leaving the company to join the Obama administration, according to two people with knowledge of Mr. McLaughlin's plans. Mr. McLaughlin will be deputy chief technology officer, reporting to Aneesh Chopra, the chief technology officer.
