Tech giants aim to improve education

Cisco, Intel and Microsoft have partnered to research better ways of evaluating education approaches, methods and technologies to improve curriculums worldwide--and ensure that they'll be able to draw from a deep talent pool in the future. The new research effort was announced Monday at Learning and Technology World Forum in London.
