New federal government team focuses on innovation and IT

Along with new positions such as the nation's first CTO, the Obama administration has created a new group, the TIGR (Technology, Innovation and Government Reform) Team. The team is to be led by Washington D.C. CTO Vivek Kundra. The team hopes to foster innovation to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of government programs.
