Obama administration's position on Real ID still unclear

It is still unclear how an Obama administration will deal with the controversial Real ID national identification standards put in motion by President George W. Bush. Thus far, Obama has not made any public statements on the Real ID program, and on the one occasion in which he had an opportunity to vote on an issue related to the Real ID Act in the Senate, he didn't cast a ballot.
