Grassley: Credit card controls needed

The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs is expected to consider a bill Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, introduced last year that would establish safeguards and internal controls for government charge card programs and create penalties for violators. "These are common sense controls that should be present in every federal agency to prevent improper purchases," Grassley said.
