Pay raise injustice needs to be corrected

I am writing in regards to the information technology pay raise.

First, to call it an IT pay raise is inaccurate. IT encompasses both the computer and telecommunication fields. The Office of Personnel Management's new revision of classification and qualification standards for IT occupations recognizes this and combines both the computer specialist (0334) and the telecommunications (0391) fields.

Employees in the telecommunications industry are being enticed from government service at the same rate as their computer counterparts. Why is it only the computer specialists are eligible for the IT raises? This is an injustice that needs to be corrected.
