House Caucus Announces Website

The House Cybersecurity Caucus, led by congressmen Jim Langevin, D-R.I., and Mike McCaul, R-Texas, launched a new website to provide the public with access to news and information about cybersecurity policy.

The House Cybersecurity Caucus, led by congressmen Jim Langevin, D-R.I., and Mike McCaul, R-Texas, on Monday launched a new website to provide the public with access to news and information about cybersecurity policy.

In a released statement, Langevin said the site "will help further the mission of the caucus and allow us to continue to raise awareness about the importance of securing our nation's cyber infrastructure - from large government agencies to our home networks."

The site could prove a valuable resource if kept updated, though so far content is pretty sparse, including links to other online resources, a few (five, to be more specific) statistics on cybercrime and a list of security tips for computer users to follow.
