Lights out on Energy Star site after breach

The government labeling program that encourages eco-friendly purchases suffered a “cyberattack” on its federal servers. Unauthorized access was gained to certain applications that contain “energy data, names, email addresses, account details for some users, and encrypted passwords.” The environmental program shuttered its website and has reset all user passwords.
