Nokia-owned proxy servers intercept certain Internet traffic from Nokia mobile devices in clear text, including credentials, putting everything from banking sessions to social media accounts at risk. The “man-in-the-middle” attacking of user connections is part of a traffic compression feature of Nokia’s browser, designed to make services speedier and less expensive.
