In case you missed our coverage this week in ThreatWatchNextgov’s regularly updated index of cyber breaches:

The 50 million followers of teen idol Justin Bieber received messages in Indonesian linking to an Android app called Shooting Stars.

It is believed an international group of unidentified hackers that is retaliating against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has extracted documents concerning the purchase, overhaul and repair of Russian fighter aircraft.

The hack targeting Mustafa Varank, a close ally of Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, coincided with the funeral of Berkin Elvan, a 15-year-old boy who died on March 11.
