Zero Trust isn’t a platform or silver bullet solution. It’s a philosophical and policy framework. It requires additional support for actual enforcement – specifically with regard to the ability to work effectively across different security domains. Why? Because while Zero Trust can protect networks, it cannot defend the exchange of information across security domains on its own, particularly in environments where operators must seamlessly integrate classified and unclassified data.
This is where Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) have emerged as indispensable.
