Baiju Jacob is Vice President of Health IT initiatives for Optum Government Solutions. He is responsible for developing the Health IT strategy and portfolio, and oversees services to state and federal government clients. Baiju has successfully managed and delivered client engagements in multiple industries. He has advised technology executives and senior managers at Fortune 1000 firms and government agencies to develop strategies to solve complex business and technology issues.
Prior to joining Optum, Baiju held leadership roles at Unisys. He was responsible for the Microsoft program in Global Public Sector, led horizontal practice services delivery in the financial services industry, and was a delivery executive for the US Public Healthcare unit. He has successfully built and led global teams to drive business development, go-to-market strategies and services delivery capabilities worldwide for $500M+ technology and services program in collaboration with corporate, cross-business unit, regional sales/marketing teams and strategic alliance partners.
