Don't Ask, Don't Tell Box

ARCHIVES

By Dawn Lim May 10, 2010 comments

A new online inbox to solicit anonymous comments from service members and their family members about the impact of reversing the ban on openly gay soldiers in the military went live this month.

The input will be reviewed by the task force studying the effects of repealing "don't ask, don't tell" under Defense Secretary Robert Gates' orders.

A non-Defense Department contractor will comb comments to blot out any identifiable information submitted inadvertently.

The inbox is posted at http://www.defense.gov/dadt. Respondents must possess an official Common Access Card to comment through this site.
