Let’s start with the good news. Yesteryear’s emerging technologies are now becoming a mainstay in government, and agencies have taken notable moves to stay afloat in an ocean of information. The intelligence community’s shift to the cloud got the buzz going -- momentum that will continue in 2015 as agencies’ use matures and cloud migrations expand further.

With cloud advances, agencies are also shoring up their security postures. The Defense Department, for example, revised its cloud security model to modify security levels that distinguish between national security systems and DOD computing systems.
