Along with the government reorganization President Obama announced Friday aimed at streamlining federal agencies that support business and trade, the White House said it will soon create a new website, Business.USA.gov, to help American businesses and entrepreneurs better navigate government services designed to help them.
"The goal is to make it easier for businesses to search the full range of government information, programs, and services they need to compete globally -- without having to navigate their way through an overwhelming bureaucracy," the website stated.
"At BusinessUSA, you'll be able to find a wide range of relevant and timely federal government data, services and programs -- whatever, whenever, on your terms," it says.
No word yet on exactly when it will debut beyond the "coming soon" banner on the site itself. With unemployment at 8.5 percent this election year, soon can't come soon enough.
