Video: How to Check Your Wi-Fi Speed

Wi-Fi makes the world go around. But do you know how fast you're going? Knowing your Wi-Fi speed can allow users to troubleshoot when things are running slowly.

Here are two quick ways to check your Wi-Fi speed:

On a PC, right click on the Wi-Fi icon at the bottom right to open the Network and Sharing Center. From there, click on "Wi-Fi Connection" to see just how fast or slow you're going.

For Mac users, click on the Wi-Fi icon at the top right while holding the option key; it will show a lot of information about your current connection, including speed.
