Video: What To Do When Your Phone's Screen Breaks

You dropped your iPhone and the screen has cracked. What do you do? A shattered screen isn't a death sentence for your device.

One option is to go to the Apple store to get it fixed. This can be slightly pricey at around $150 or potentially free if it's discovered that the glass was defective. (A single hairline crack as opposed to a totally smashed screen could indicate this.)

Adventurous types can try to replace the glass screen themselves with a DIY kit. If you begin tinkering, however, this will void the warranty.
