Video: Why You Should Use Apps to Save Data

Having trouble deciding whether you should download an app or not?

While using your smartphone or tablet, you might be tempted to just use your mobile browser to visit websites, but it might be far smarter to download a site's app, even if you don't use it that often. 

Why? The data used to download an entire Web page (that means every time you click on a new item) is a lot more than the data pulled in from an app. 

The difference might seem minor while you're browsing, but that data can add up over time.
