Smartphones today have incredibly advanced cameras, some with up to 20 megapixels. But all those pixels can't give you amazing photos if you don't follow a few basic steps.

Make sure to keep the camera stable and steady, whether that's with a small tripod or just simply using two hands.

Another no-brainer: Clean the lens!
