Samsung recently announced their latest smartphone, the Galaxy Note 8. It's a very large phone with a 6.3-inch screen and it comes with updated specs and has a safer battery. This device also comes with some minor features that have a big impact.

The Note 8 comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the back, which is primarily used to keep your phone secure. But once users turn on fingerprint gestures in the settings, you can swipe your finger up and down on the back of the phone to pull notifications in an instant.

This smartphone also comes equipped with a stylus pen, which is useful for things like taking quick notes. But it can also be used as a translation tool. First, choose the 'translate' function in the stylus app, then hover the pen over the text you want to read. This will translate the language and even show currency conversions.

Users should also look out for a feature in the camera app lets users make animated .gifs from anything the camera sees.
