The app is called Hound and can take on more complicated requests than Siri
Personal assistant apps like Siri and Google Now can feel very futuristic, but sometimes aren't very effective. Enter Hound.
Just like its competition, it uses voice recognition and can also tell you the weather forecast, update you on sports scores and search the Web.
But instead of requiring users to simplify their requests or speak in strange haikus, Hound understands long and sometimes-complicated questions.
When making searches, users can make exceptions and stipulations. For example, when searching for a hotel, you can give a date range and request that results be pet friendly.
The app can also order an Uber with just a single voice command.
