Recall Ready

The Agriculture Department is making it easier on the public to keep track of recalled food and products with a one-stop shop app.

U.S. Government's Products Recall, available for Android phones, allows consumers to locate information about recalls in a single place. Can't remember where you read about a salmonella scare or malfuntioning child safety seat? Check the app for press releases and product photos, use it to report concerns of unsafe products or to find educational tips surrounding current recalls.

NPR reports that versions for iPhone and Blackberry devices are coming soon.

The app is available through the Mobile App store on GSA's USA.gov.
