The folks over at The Verge have put together a good graphic laying out where President Obama and Mitt Romney stand on key technology issues including cybersecurity, Internet regulations and the future of space exploration.
The piece eschews rankings in favor of quotes from the candidates and narrative descriptions of their policy positions. It does an especially good job of drawing out contrasts between the candidates in areas where they’ve often said little of substance.
It’s also not afraid to call out the candidates on vagueness, such as describing Romney’s space plan as “romantic” but offering “few details.”
The chart also includes Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein.
