A step beyond 3-D printing.

Researchers at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University have printed flower-like objects that can change shape when added to water. The process is referred to as 4-D printing, with time being the fourth dimension. The material they use could lead to some major medical advances.
