Information Strategy. The White House has released a strategy that “calls for agencies to use common standards and processes for acquiring, accessing, retaining, producing and sharing information,” Federal Times reports.
No End in Sight... Roll Call reports that there is “no clear legislative path” from the talks between President Obama and Speaker John Boehner toward averting the fiscal cliff.
...Unless Maybe There Is. Government Executive, on the other hand, notes a few reasons why “there is still plenty of time, and opportunity, for Boehner and Obama to strike a deal.”
The List. Experts at the IBM Center for the Business of Government round up their “best-of” lists for 2012.
Data Act. The Hill also reports that Data Cap Integrity Act, proposed by Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), would require the FCC to establish standards that Internet service providers will use to measure the amount of data their subscribers use.
