Cybersecurity bill nears Senate vote

A bi-partisian cybersecurity bill could be voted on soon, but its sponsors are working to change some sections first.

A bipartisan cybersecurity bill could be voted on in the Senate next week, according to a report in The Hill.

Sourced to Sen. Joe Lieberman, (I-Conn), one of the bill's sponsors, the report by Jennifer Martinez says that the bill will not be identical to the version introduced in February. In particular, Lieberman and his co-sponsors are working on changes to the information sharing and critical infrastructure sections.
