JTRS Program Names New Network Software Chief

The Joint Tactical Radio System Program Executive Office said Navy Capt. Kevin Peterson has taken over as Program Manager for its Network Enterprise Domain program, which is focused on ensuring multiple JTRS software radios can talk to each other. The job sounds like more than a 9-to-5 gig.

Peterson, who takes over from Navy Capt. Jeffery Hoyle, recently served as a Chief of Naval Operations Fellow at the Naval War College, did a stint at the National Reconnaissance Office and had shipboard assignments on the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier and two destroyers.
