Fun with the Acquisition Life-Cycle

While the above might seem like an oxymoron, the Defense Acquisition University on Wednesday launched a collection of online games designed to be educational, yet fun.

The website currently has 13 games, including Select-A-Cell, which explains the life-cycle process by taking gamers through a mock acquisition of cell phones. And then there's Procurement Investigation, designed to help pinpoint fraud.

The Acquisition University's Global Learning Technologies Center plans to release a game a month to keep players coming back. Next up are: "Artemis: A Cost Estimating Game" (January 2011) and "Time Traveler: A Rates Game" (February 2011).

I can hardly wait for auditing folks to develop their own game site.
