Some open-government advocates, who are fighting for the release of hundreds of e-mails Palin's administration has withheld, have suggested that the governor may have used the private account as a way to skirt public-records disclosure laws, according to the Seattle Times story. State lawyers say e-mails concerning official state business should be treated the same as any other public record, even if they were sent from a private account such as Yahoo.
