FCW Insider: Movie winners... and the next round...

We're moving rapidly toward selecting the best government themed movie in FCW.com's March (now April) government themed Movie Madness brackets.

We started a few weeks ago with 32 movies... we just have finished the first competitions in the second round. (Is this making sense?) The second set of competitions start... well, now.

Voting for the second set of four movies can be found at www.fcw.com/polls.

Here are the results from the first set of movies from the sweet 16:
* In one of the closest competitions yet, The American President defeated Air Force One, 51% to 49%.

The others were not nearly as close. (All numbers represent percentages.)
* Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (69 percent) defeated Enemy of the State (31 percent)
* War Games (63) beat out The Good Shepherd (37)
* In the Line of Fire (73) defeated JFK (27)

We have posted the final four movies in the second round of competitions. Again, voting can be found at www.fcw.com/polls...

* The Jack Ryan movies vs. The Hunt for Red October
* Silence of the Lambs vs. Wag the Dog
* Manchurian Candidate vs. All the President's Men
* Black Hawk Down vs. The Fugitive

Voting will continue until about 4p Friday at www.fcw.com/polls.
