Under a licensing deal signed in December, Army and Defense Information Systems Agency employees can now buy Microsoft Office 2013 -- which includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint -- for their home computers for the bargain price of $9.95, versus a suggested retail price of more than $100, a Microsoft spokeswoman said.
Navy and Marines users will also be able to take advantage of this home-use offer under a contract signed in July, 2012, she said.
