When asked that question during a press call today, Veterans Affairs Department Chief Information Officer Roger Baker ducked.
Baker first pointed out he was already serving in the second four years of the Obama Administration. When pressed if he planned to stay another four years, Baker said that was a conversation he first needed to have with VA Secretary Eric Shinseki before he talked to the media.
Baker added there was “no better federal CIO job” than the VA slot.
