Eutelsat Communications, a Paris-based satellite operator that serves Europe and the Mideast, says Iran has jammed satellite broadcast of the BBC, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and the Voice of America since Wednesday.
This “significant deliberate interference” violates the rules of the International Telecommunications Union, Eutelsat said, adding that it has asked the French national frequency union to step up its complaints to the ITU.
No word if Big Bird has been hit by the jamming.
