When I received a note from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to check out its new smartphone/tablet training course, I almost dismissed it as typical government overkill.
Since every 10-year-old on the planet knows how to operate these gadgets right out of the box, why does DISA need to train adults on how to use them.
Then I started poking around the training site and discovered DISA has focused on security problems and issues ignored by many a child and adult.
While DISA has focused its training on federal users, it has opened up the website to anyone. It’s definitely worth checking out.
