That’s the winner in my contest to rename the White House Communications Agency.
Once the Defense Information Systems Agency, which runs WHCA , approves this name change, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney will no longer have to go through the tortuous exercise of explaining why an outfit with White House in its name really has nothing to do with the White House.
The reader known as MAC 5001who suggested Executive Branch Communications Support Office (EBCSO, a rather awkward acronym) will win -- as promised -- my rare and valuable National Reconnaissance Office coaster and NORAD hockey puck. Send me your contact and address information, at bbrewin@govexec.com.
