Last Sunday my buddy Paul McCloskey, editor of Government Computer News, and I proved once again that the usually sedentary members of the widget, gadget and gizmo press can slog through the annual Bataan Memorial Death March at White Sands Missile Range, N.M.
If we can do it, so can the folks we cover -- especially the Defense Information Systems Agency, which has more widgets, gadgets and gizmos than probably any agency in the government.
DISA, consider this a challenge to field a team in 2013. No date has been set, but it is usually the last Sunday in March. I will update this challenge in the fall when registration for the 2013 event opens.
