Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta named Terry Duncan to be the director of communications and network programs in the department's Office of the Chief Information Officer.
Duncan, a member of the Senior Executive Service, previously served as director of systems engineering for the Defense CIO.
It's always good to have someone who understands systems engineering assigned to do the network thing.
