Video: Parsing Cyber in the Trump White House

There are a few clues that will predict how the next administration will treat cybersecurity.

Three dozen landing team members were named by President-elect Donald Trump and will aid the political appointees of the next administration.

Nextgov 's Joseph Marks discussed the cybersecurity talent joining these teams and what they will do to aid the transition. In particular, two officials have given the national security community a sense of how the Trump administration plans to address cyber policy.

What else is the community watching?

"Whether he appoints someone to fill the role of Michael Daniel, the cybersecurity adviser to the president—if that role exists and who he puts into that role," Marks said.
