Cards Used at Totally Promotional eTailer Fall into Crooks Hands

Hackers entered the computer system of Casad Company, the firm that operates totallypromotional.com, and deposited malware that sucks out customer payment card data.  Totally Promotional sells custom-printed promotional items. 

The company learned something was amiss, when calls came in from clients who found unauthorized charges on banking statements after using their cards on totallypromotional.com.  

Security experts were brought in to find the point of attack and patch vulnerabilities. 

The affected information includes customer names, mailing and email addresses, and credit and debit card information.

Casad began notifying victims in mid-August via email and snail mail.
