Baltimore Prosecutor Says Her Hacked Twitter Account ‘Favorited’ An Anti-Cop Tweet

State's Attorney for Baltimore City Marilyn Mosby denies endorsing a racially-charged tweet and another one labeling the police officers charged in the Freddie Gray case “thugs.” It was already known that her official government Twitter account was hacked last week.  But this was the first time anyone has claimed Mosby’s personal account also was hijacked.

The two tweets at issue were posted May 6.

One called the officers charged in the Gray case “those 6 THUG cops.” The other tweet, from a different user, praised Mosby’s handling of the case and asserted that she “INFURIATES a certain kind of white person.”

The prosecutor’s office told Fox News host Megyn Kelly, “Both Mosby’s official Twitter account and her personal account were hacked.”

Mosby tweeted from her personal account on May 23 that her government account had been hacked.

Kelly cast some doubt on the new claim about Mosby’s personal account having been hacked earlier.

“I don’t know what the true story is…but clearly this DA has made enough statements that she is out way ahead of her skis,” Kelly said.
