Employee accidentally exposes airport passcodes before Obama’s flight lands

Transportation // Tokyo, Japan

A Skymark Airlines worker at Haneda airport in Tokyo lost a piece of paper bearing the codes on Sunday afternoon, prompting a frantic scramble to change the digits.

Obama’s arrival there on Wednesday will mark the first state visit by a U.S. president in almost two decades. At the airport, entry onto the observation deck will be prohibited.

“The note was found on the floor of the departure lobby around half an hour later,” AFP reports.
