To mark the 10th anniversary of World Intellectual Property Day, the Justice Department said Monday that it has appointed 15 new assistant U.S. attorneys and 20 FBI special agents who will focus on combating domestic and international intellectual property crimes.

The new U.S. attorneys will work in the Justice Department's Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property program and will be located at offices in 10 states and Washington, D.C. The 20 new FBI agents will add to the 31 agents already dedicated to investigating IP crimes.
