The 2011 job fair for Presidential Management Fellows kicks off on Tuesday, and Young Government Leaders and social networking site GovLoop have teamed up to create a couple of tools for aspiring PMFs to make themselves stand out.
YGL and GovLoop worked with current PMFs and other volunteers to create a comprehensive guide to the PMF job fair for current finalists. They also will host a social event in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday for current PMFs and PMF coordinators.
You also can check the PMF website for a list of available jobs. The Veterans Affairs, Interior, State and Health and Human Services departments and the General Services Administration all have PMF positions available in information technology. Keep in mind that the event is only for recently selected PMF finalists and participating agency representatives.
Are you part of the PMF class of 2011? What has your experience been thus far?
