For the Defense Department's Cyber Command, looking for qualified cybersecurity employees is the easy part. Finding them is turning out to be a difficult prospect.

Gen. Keith Alexander said on Thursday during a House Armed Services Committee hearing that it is the biggest challenge the Cyber Command faces, Federal News Radio reported.

"We have our command stood up, our staff stood up, but the force is what we now have to rely on," he said, adding that Defense will hire 1,000 cybersecurity workers a year over the next few years. The Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines know it will take a long time, the report said.
