A new report from Forrester Research, for example, shows that while almost everyone under 35 uses social networks, the growth of these networks over the last year has come from older adults. While the traditional early-adopter model shows that teens and college students are the drivers of technology adoption, the explosion of Twitter's popularity among older generations has proved the early-adopter model to be largely a myth.
