Entries for Sarah Palin and Joe Biden both saw spikes in edits in the days before their selections.
Wikipedia is the first stop for many who want to know about a topic from history or current events — but did you know it can also predict the future?
TechPresident.com reports that the Wikipedia entries for Sarah Palin and Joe Biden both saw sudden spikes in edits in the days before their selections as running mates were announced to the world.
The bad news is that a review of the entries for this year’s leading contenders does not turn up any similar upticks in editing. Maybe Wikipedia’s oracular abilities no longer hold, or maybe Mitt Romney’s announcement is still a couple of weeks away.
