Three important sites operated by the General Services Administration experienced technical problems last week.

The Federal Business Opportunities website and two others operated by the General Services Administration are fully online and operational following technical issues on Jan. 3.

In a statement to Nextgov, which reported user issues with the FBO site Jan. 3, GSA officials confirmed technical issues on the day with FBO.gov and the websites for the Electronic Subcontracting Reporting System and Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act Subaward Reporting System.

The issues were internal to GSA and not related to the government shutdown.

“GSA IT confirmed there were intermittent access problems. The issue was technical within GSA’s system, not related to the shutdown,” officials told Nextgov in an email Jan. 4. “GSA IT worked diligently to resolve the issue; access was promptly restored for all users.”

It is unclear how many users were affected.
