Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) plan to announce Thursday they will introduce in early July a bill aimed at opening Iran's Internet and phone services, two communication lines that the Iranian government has sporadically cut off to maintain control of information coming in and out of the country. The law, if passed, would offer incentives to companies and non-government organizations equipping Iranian citizens with technology for bypassing government media restrictions.
